Oh I so wish I could get EWTN on my digital. I have to pay extra to get that channel, sadly.
I did watch a couple of SITC shows when it first started out, but quickly lost interest when I realised that without the fornication and four letter words there was very little else holding it together.
Wow, that’s enligthening! Good post!
Clear as day!
I actually watched Christ in the City (at least part of it). Now - it was rather academic, that is not much entertainment value. I do like EWTN, but I wish there was some good Catholic programming that was ALSO entertaining.
Rob, I would agree that “Christ in the City” can be boring. I’d like to see more documentaries on EWTN of monasteries, convents, shrines, and other historical places.
Hi Moneybags!
Documentaries would be good! Some actual production shows might be good too - how about showing more movies of Lives of the Saints, or movies on current moral issues from a Catholic perspective. I like to go and learn new things on EWTN, but I feel the need for a Catholic Entertainment alternative as well.
