Today is the day that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. It marked the entry of the US into World War II - one of the most trying times in world history. If ever there was a just war, this was it. Multitudes lost their lives, but when the cause is just, we must stand firm. Let’s remember those lessons from the past today.

You can click here to listen to FDR’s speech to congress on December 8, 1941. One of the most famous in history.

Thank you for the link, but most of all for your positive words of courage and fortitude. We MUST display these qualities. Otherwise, I fear for our blessed country.

With lots of hope!

Hi,

Just happened on your blog, as well as another article on Pearl Harbor - found here:

http://debugmybrain.blogspot.com/2006/12/truth-behind-pearl-harbor.html

I don’t know if this is true or not, but if it is - and I wouldn’t be surprised - then it’s saddening.

Thanks, Shirley!

Anonymous,
I have heard these conspiracy theories before. While I do think that FDR was on the right side from the begining, I do not beleive the conspiracy that he let our ships be sunk - especially as it would not have mattered.

I guess I stopped belieiving most conspiracy theories when I realized how incompetent most people are (especially governments).
