I know that in the end all will be judged, and justice served. In terms of any abuse - I want justice done - not lynch mob justice, but justice. I know that in the end all will be judged, and justice served. In the meantime, if the Cardinal or a priest has done something criminal, then criminal charges should be filed.

If not, then what should we do? Should we hold these priest citizens to a different standard of justice than any other citizen?

To pull dirty laundry out for all is to cause scandal. Bad idea. Also, we are to follow our bishops. As someone who is in LA, what should I do? Stop going to church? Protest my local parish? Become a schismatic. Sorry, no. The Holy Spirit must guide the Church. We are not a democracy (BTW, that is a liberal concept). We sometimes must practice humility. The key word here is public. I think that there are times when the Faithful should do something when things like liturgical abuses take place.
