Psalm 100
Cry out with jot yo the LORD, all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness.
Come before him, singing for joy.
Know that he, the LORD, is God.
He made us, we belong to him,
we are his people, the sheep of his flock.
Go within his gates, giving thanks.
Enter his courts with songs of praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.
Indeed, how good is the LORD.
eternal his merciful love.
He is faithful from age to age.
My Prayer of Thanksgiving
Lord God creator of all things,
Thank you for this day set aside to give you thanks.
Thank you for all you have given me.
Than you for the gift of your Son and my redemption.
Thank you for the gift of my life and all that I am.
Thank you for the abundance of your love, patience and forgiveness.
Thank you for the talents and prosperity you have given me.
Thank you for the difficulties and challenges that I struggle with.
Thank you for the graces you have showered on me.
Thank you for my wife and our marriage.
Thank you for our children.
Thank you for our parents, siblings and all our family.
Thank you for my friends - both near and far.
Thank you for those who have touched my life but have since died.
Thank you for your Church.
Thank you for our Pope.
Thank you for your priests - especially those that touch our lives.
Thank you for my parish.
Thank you for the gift of creation.
Thank you for my country and the freedom that she still holds dear.
Lord, without you, I am nothing.
Yet you choose to give me everything.
Thank you!
