I find myself drawn to this mass. I will likely be going again this Sunday. I have talked with my associate pastor at my parish (Novus Ordo only so far). I think he will learn it when he has time. I do not know where they have any high masses near me.

For now, I will continue to go when I can to the Low Mass that is available. As odd as it may sound, I find myself craving it. I wish I could share it with more people.

I went to my second TLM recently (High Mass to boot) ... I posted on my blog about it.

Glad you got to go. I asked our priest about it. Neither one knows the mass but I suspect within a year or two our young priest will go through training. Then we will likely have a regular mass -- these things take time. I suggest people get in gear about asking for it. It never hurts.

Let me tell you: I totally understand. I found the Extraordinary Form by accident one day, I was visiting a parish that I'd never been to, and found out the 9:15 mass was 150% as long, the priest faced the wrong way and the whole thing was in the wrong language.

Hey. Woo. Rah.

Since then, a few repeat visits made me totally appreciate the EF in ways I never understood from the OF. These days, I'd call myself "bi-formal", because I attend both the Tridentine and the Vernacular Novus Ordo Masses, but I absolutly LOVE the Traditional Latin Mass!

Deo Gratias! Welcome! Come on in, the Holy Water's fine!

Great Post

Im glad to see that you have found this treasure of our Faith, we have been going pretty regularly for about a year now to the Extraordinary form, its about a 30-40min Drive every sunday and sometimes we don't make it, but we try.

It takes about a month I would say of going every sunday to get a really good grasp of everything that is going on in the Mass, even more so if you will be praying at a Solemn High Mass with Deacon and Subdeacon.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers

God Bless
