Here is a press release excerpt from Students For Life. It describes what can only be thought of as evil. That the school allows this is abhorrent. This elite institution sees no problem with the murder of innocent life not just for because the life is inconvenient, but for sheer entertainment.

The April 17th edition of Yale Daily News reports that senior Aliza Shvarts’ “art” show is slated to begin next Tuesday, on April 29th. It features a documentation of a nine-month process in which Shvarts artificially inseminated herself multiple times and used abortifacients to induce multiple abortions while filming the process. The exhibit will display the videos of her abortions as well as blood samples from the process. According to Shvarts, the goal of her art exhibit is to “spark conversation and debate on the relationship between art and the human body.” See the Yale article here: http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/24513.

I wonder if the Nazi’s felt so glibly about their taking of life. Did they think it was art or is this just a part of this latest holocaust?

From Murder By Numers - Sting & Andy Summers - Emphasis mine

Once that you’ve decided on a killing
First you make a stone of your heart
And if you find that your hands are still willing
Then you can turn a murder into art

Now if you have a taste for this experience
And you’re flushed with your very first success
Then you must try a twosome or a threesome
And you’ll find your conscience bothers you much less

Because murder is like anything you take to
It’s a habit-forming need for more and more
You can bump off every member of your family
And anybody else you find a bore

Because it’s murder by numbers, one, two, three
It’s as easy to learn as your ABC
Murder by numbers, one, two, three
It’s as easy to learn as your ABC

UPDATE

It turns out this fool for a student was just kidding!

Geez, how sweet. We now think it is cute, or funny, or intellectual, or artistic to pretend to kill innocent life.

Wow.

What a joke of a school.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE

But in an interview later Thursday afternoon, Shvarts defended her work and called the University’s statement “ultimately inaccurate.” She reiterated that she engaged in the nine-month process she publicized on Wednesday in a press release that was first reported in the News: repeatedly using a needleless syringe to insert semen into herself, then taking abortifacient herbs at the end of her menstrual cycle to induce bleeding. Thursday evening, in a tour of her art studio, she shared with the News video footage she claimed depicted her attempts at self-induced miscarriages.

“No one can say with 100-percent certainty that anything in the piece did or did not happen,” Shvarts said, adding that she does not know whether she was ever pregnant. “The nature of the piece is that it did not consist of certainties.”Ref

At its very best, this work pretends to be evil to indulge the mental masturbation of pseudo intellectuals. At it’s worst it depicts an indefensible evil. Either way it is diagnostic of one of the countries “top” universities - and the it doesn’t look good.

It additionally provides an example of moral relativism in action, and diagnoses a political left that would defend this act. How can a student and her advisers cross so many lines and consider it reasonable? If you do not believe in truth, then there is no right or wrong - merely opinion. If there is no right or wrong, then anything goes. THAT is how you get this. Btw, THAT is the kind of insanity that relativism teaches.
