If you are only paying attention to the mainstream media, you would not be aware of the persecution that Christians are undergoing at the hands of hindus. Churches have been burned. Christians have been murdered, including by being burned alive. Even Mother Theresa’s sisters are being harassed for caring for the poor.
From the west we hear only the deafining sounds of silence. If you are at all disturbed, you should first become informed.

The first thing to do is pray. The second is to spread the word about these pogroms. The third is to look for opportunities to support the Church in India and other areas where she is being persecuted. We need to look beyond our borders and remember our brothers and sisters in need.
