Today Obama reversed the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. This is already added to the the reversal of the Mexico City Policy (the ban on federal funding for foreign aid agencies that perform abortions). Obama has decided to take tax dollars that fund poverty initiatives in foreign countries and much need programs at home (including research into adult stem cells) so that he can force American taxpayers to pay for the death of innocent life. To that the big O is moving to remove conscience protections for health workers. This move will force some to actually kill, not just pay for the killing.

The Untold Story: Radical Obama Also Rescinds Executive Order for Alternatives to ESCR
We all know that President Obama rescinded the Bush funding restrictions for ESCR. But that isn’t all he did. He also rescinded Executive Order 13435 of June 20, 2007.
What is that? Of course, the Administration didn’t have the candor or courage to publicize this part of his nasty work, but the now dead order explicitly required funding for “alternative methods,” such as the new IPSCs, which offer so much promise without the ethical contentiousness. For more on that late executive order, see SHS, “Bush to Fund Stem Cell ‘Alternatives’ Research.) Alternative methods are one of the few areas in which we can all row in the same direction, which I thought this president wanted to do.
Have no doubt about it – the Obama administration has moved quickly to undermine human life. Is this the “hope” and “change” the American people were expecting?
